As mentioned above the book focuses on data collected from the United States but having read the book myself it really doesn’t matter as the general strategies that he teaches can still be applied to any of the 5 Swoopo country sites. I believe this is a great book to give you a strong understanding of the way that Swoopo works from the eyes of a mathematician. Because when it comes to Bidding on Swoopo you will need to do a considerable amount of number crunching if you are to successfully play the game.

Pretty straight-forward. Dave seems to have the presence of mind to look at the bidding process as a purely mathematical sequence that will increase the probability of a money-saving win. And yes, it works.
I bought this within the last week or so and was unimpressed. By now, it is already kind of dated, despite the claims that the spreadsheet in the top package is update frequently — I couldn’t find many of the products currently on Swoopo in the spreadsheet, and using just the manufacturer or a similar type of product seemed unhelpful. I tried to leave a comment on the author’s blog to ask about my concerns, and it has sat untended for several days, saying it is just “awaiting moderation.”
Follow-up: Beat Swoopo provider pretty cheerfully refunded my money, so I appreciated how he handled that.
Sites like Swoopo are more for fun than for people actually looking for a bargain. I suggest you look around at the other auction sites similar to Swoopo. Hasteno.com is a new one that I’ve been playing on and I’ve actually won a couple things. Playstation 3 games going for $.08 (2 bids!) and a Nintendo Wii going for $2.16 is ridiculous. Before you completely discount the idea, you should check them out.
yeah, i dunt think u should pay for the strajedy here becuz i found lots of other websites that offer similar strajedies that work. i uzed it to win on swoopo and bidstick.com. just a sujestion for anyone thinking of buying this.
I just bought the strategy guide about 2 wks ago and have already started winning. The great thing about it is you don’t have to be limited to just swoopo. you can put the same ideas to use on other penny auctions, too. I won a compaq laptop computer for under 50 bucks. Thanks beatswoopo.
